Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s financial health by conducting in-depth financial analyses, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing strategic insights that drive informed decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
In-Depth Financial Analysis:
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to evaluate financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics, to identify trends and variances
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial implications of various business strategies, including new product launches, market expansion, and cost optimization initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports that summarize findings, highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable recommendations to senior management for strategic planning
Support for Budgeting Processes:
- Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to gather input for the annual budget, ensuring that all financial objectives align with the company’s strategic plan
- Analyze historical financial performance and market dynamics to develop realistic budget assumptions that reflect current business conditions
- Facilitate budget meetings, present financial insights and encouraging cross-departmental discussions to foster collaboration and shared accountability in financial planning
Forecasting and Financial Projections:
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial forecasts, incorporating input from various departments to create accurate projections based on historical trends and future expectations
- Monitor and assess key market indicators and economic conditions, adjusting forecasts as needed to reflect changing business conditions and strategic priorities
- Prepare variance analysis reports that highlight differences between actual performance and budgeted goals, providing insights into financial trends and operational performance
Strategic Insights and Decision Support:
- Serve as a financial advisor to senior management and operational leaders, offering insights that enhance strategic decision-making and long-term planning

Ad-hoc Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by leadership, providing timely and relevant data to support various strategic initiatives

Skills Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields
- Proficient in financial modeling and advanced Excel techniques, with experience in financial software (e.g., SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
