Senior Financial Analyst

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: American Expedition Vehicles is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making across our design, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution operations.

This role is responsible for forecasting, modeling, and performance analysis, as well as pricing strategy and cost analysis to optimize margins. The position partners closely with operations and leadership to provide clear, actionable insight into business performance and drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
Build and maintain financial models to support pricing, product, and operational decisions
Perform variance analysis and develop reporting to track business performance
Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to improve cost visibility and cost control
Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to improve access to data
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and analysis through automation and workflow improvements
Utilize available tools, including AI-assisted workflows where appropriate, to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
Prepare clear, decision-oriented reporting and presentations for leadership
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel required)
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or product-based environments preferred
Experience with reporting tools or BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Exposure to process improvement, automation, or workflow tools
Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related area of study
5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone.
Ability to see and read bank activity, statements, reports, and payroll journals. This includes visual requirements of close, color, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and mouse to complete tasks with exposure to video display terminals; and some repetitive motion associated with data entry, the use of a mouse, and while using other office equipment. This includes the use of arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to sit 75% of the day or more. Occasionally stand or walk and stoop or kneel.
