Senior Financial Analyst

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a high-caliber Financial Analyst to join the CFO Office of a Middle East–based Family Office with a portfolio of strategic and operating investments.

This role is execution-focused and hands-on, providing direct exposure to the CFO and senior leadership. The successful candidate will support portfolio performance monitoring, financial modeling, Board reporting, Family Office–level planning and forecasting, and corporate finance activities, including acquisitions, divestments, and fundraising.

The role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity (portfolio management/value creation), Big 4 transaction advisory, or Family Office environments who are seeking broader portfolio exposure and long-term capital perspectives.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

Portfolio Performance & Reporting

  • Evaluate and monitor the financial and operating performance of portfolio companies periodically (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Develop standardized dashboards, KPIs, and analytical frameworks across strategic and operating investments.
  • Prepare portfolio performance materials for internal management and Board presentations.
  • Track budget vs actuals, variances, cash flow, returns, and key value drivers across the portfolio spectrum

Financial Modeling & Analysis

  • Perform strategic and financial analysis to support capital allocation and investment decisions at the Family Office level
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including three-statement models, DCF, trading and transaction comparable, IRR/NPV, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
  • Support valuation exercises for new investments, follow-on investments, exits, and internal reviews.

Corporate Finance & Transaction Support

  • Support the CFO and investment leadership on corporate finance activities such as Family Office–led acquisitions, minority investments, portfolio divestments, and monetization
  • Prepare transaction-related financial analysis, investment memoranda, management presentations, and Investment Committee materials.
  • Support in financial and commercial due diligence, along with external advisors
  • Assist in evaluating transaction structures, returns, risks, and strategic fit from a family office perspective.
  • Deliver investment reports, memos, and presentations to support committee decision-making.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash flow projections & forecastng and long-term financial planning for the Family Office
  • Assist with consolidated financial planning, liquidity management, and scenario modeling across the overall portfolio.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key variances and drivers to the CFO.

Stakeholder & Process Support

  • Act as a key analytical partner to the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Serve as the central finance liaison between the Family Office and portfolio companies for performance reporting and information flow.
  • Support enhancement of Family Office portfolio financial reporting, governance frameworks, analytical tools, and internal processes.
  • Leverage AI and financial platforms to improve efficiency, insight generation, and reporting quality.


Skills & Competencies Required

  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation (DCF, Comps, IRR/NPV, scenario analysis).
  • Strong financial and investment analysis skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills; comfortable preparing Board-level materials.
  • Effective communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work cross-functionally and with external partners.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools in day-to-day analytical and reporting work.
  • Prior experience using Bloomberg / Thomson Reuters / FactSet (or similar platforms).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel; strong PowerPoint and Word skills.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration
  • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CFA (completed or near completion).
  • Minimum 6–8 years post-qualification experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity (within portfolio/value creation), Big 4 transaction advisory, or similar family office environments.
  • Prior Middle East experience preferred; Family Office or investment holding company exposure is a plus.
  • Multi-sector experience required, with exposure to at least three of the following: Automobiles, Consumer/QSR, Healthcare, Education, Real Estate.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, portfolio performance analysis, transaction support, and financial planning at a holding company or advisory level.
