Sr. Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team. This role is focused on driving financial insights and supporting business decisions within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of profitability and margins, and experience partnering with sales and engineering teams. This is not a corporate FP&A role ; you will be working hands-on with operational finance to impact business performance directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of product lines, customer accounts, and operational initiatives.
• Analyze profitability, margins, and cost structures to support strategic decision-making.
• Partner closely with sales and engineering teams to provide actionable financial insights.
• Develop financial models and reporting tools to improve visibility and drive performance.
• Support pricing strategies, quoting processes, and product cost evaluations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and margin optimization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in profitability and margin analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP and financial systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with sales and engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in commercial/operational finance rather than corporate FP&A.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
