Responsibilities
Kforce's client, a growing financial institution located in the Boston, MA area, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support senior leadership, including the CFO and Controller. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives. this client offers salary and benefits package. This is a hybrid position following an initial training period. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare internal financial statements and external regulatory reports

Perform and review general ledger reconciliations

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Prepare and post month-end journal entries
-
Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness

Evaluate workflows and implement process improvements/automation

Develop documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guidance

Partner with auditors and assist with audit processes
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
-
CPA or CFA preferred
-
4+ years of finance or accounting experience

Experience in banking or financial institutions (or related audit experience) required

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience with accounting systems (Oracle, Blackline, Sageworks, AvidPay preferred)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

Understanding of internal controls is a plus

Familiarity with regulatory requirements (including BSA compliance)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
