Senior Fit-Out Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fit-Out Estimator to lead the preparation of accurate, detailed, and competitive cost estimates for high-end interior fit-out projects. This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent market knowledge, and the capability to work independently in developing pricing and rate build-ups. Candidates must have solid Middle East experience and a deep understanding of commercial and residential fit-out work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Tender Review & Documentation

• Study tender documents and prepare internal review notes.
• Identify missing information and raise RFIs to clients/consultants.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to define required materials and works.

Supplier, Subcontractor & Pricing Coordination

• Prepare and issue RFQ packages to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Follow up, collect, and evaluate received quotations.
• Prepare detailed price comparisons and verify project quantities (BOQ validations).

Cost Estimation & Rate Development

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for fit-out projects.
• Conduct independent and detailed rate build-ups for materials, labor, equipment, and preliminaries.
• Maintain strong knowledge of current market rates and pricing trends.
• Evaluate materials and propose cost-effective value engineering alternatives.

Bid Preparation & Project Support

• Review bid instructions, participate in pre-tender meetings, and perform site visits as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, procurement, and technical teams.
• Prepare and submit competitive tender submissions within deadlines.

Cost Monitoring & Reporting

• Track and monitor project-related costs and update cost databases.
• Provide clear status and progress reports to management throughout the tendering cycle.
• Maintain updated records of suppliers, subcontractors, historical pricing, and market rates.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical, numerical, and cost evaluation skills.
• High accuracy in quantity take-offs and rate calculations.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and fit-out industry pricing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 7–8 years of experience, including mandatory Middle East experience.
• Experience in high-end interior fit-out (commercial, and residential)

Certifications

• Professional certifications (CPE, CEP) are an advantage.
• Valid driving license is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Technical knowledge of QCS, QCDD, local authorities, and fit-out industry standards.
• Experience in estimating, tendering, site measurement, budgeting, and costing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR13,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month

• GCC / Middle East: 4 years (Preferred)
• QCS, QCDD, local authorities, and fit-out standards.: 7 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Professional certifications (CPE, CEP) (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
