Senior Fitout Draftsman

Job Overview:
The Senior Fitout Detailer and Draftsman experience in Villa projects plays a crucial role in the interior fitout process by translating design
concepts into highly detailed and accurate technical drawings. Collaborating closely with architects, interior
designers, and project managers, the Senior Fitout Detailer and Draftsman will be responsible for creating
comprehensive fitout drawings that guide construction teams in executing interior spaces to meet client
specifications. This role demands a high level of proficiency in CAD software, a deep understanding of interior
fitout principles, and the ability to manage complex detailing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Fitout Detailing
Generate detailed fitout drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, with a focus on
interior elements such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, and cabinetry.
Incorporate design intent into technical details, ensuring alignment with aesthetic and functional
requirements.
CAD Proficiency
Utilize advanced CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to produce 2D and 3D models, emphasizing
accuracy and precision in fitout documentation.
Coordination and Collaboration
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to understand design concepts
and integrate them into fitout plans.
Coordinate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and other specialized consultants to ensure
seamless integration of fitout elements.
Quality Control
Conduct comprehensive reviews of fitout drawings to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, and
potential issues.
Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain high standards in fitout documentation.
Documentation and Record Keeping
Maintain accurate documentation of fitout details, including revisions and as-built drawings.
Organize and catalogue fitout drawings for reference and future projects.
Technical Support
Provide technical support to construction teams during the fitout phase, addressing queries and
clarifying details as needed.
Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure accurate implementation of fitout
designs.
Requirements:
Education:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
o Relevant certifications in CAD software or interior fitout detailing are advantageous.
Experience:
o A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Fitout Detailer and Draftsman, with a proven track
record of contributing to successful fitout projects.
Portfolio:
o A portfolio showcasing previous work in fitout detailing, highlighting the ability to produce
accurate and comprehensive fitout drawings.
Skills:
o Proficiency in industry-standards CAD software, with a focus on interior fitout applications.
