Senior Florist

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Florist to join our events and catering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, preparing, and arranging floral decorations for corporate events, and special occasions. This role requires a strong eye for design, knowledge of flowers and seasonal availability, and the ability to deliver elegant floral arrangements that enhance the overall event experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and install floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and decorative pieces for weddings and events.
• Collaborate with event planners, catering teams, and clients to understand themes, preferences, and budgets.
• Create floral concepts that complement the event’s style, décor, and catering setup.
• Source, purchase, and maintain flowers, plants, and floral supplies while managing costs.
• Ensure floral arrangements are fresh, aesthetically appealing, and delivered/installed on time.
• Supervise floral setup and breakdown at event venues, ensuring smooth execution.
• Maintain floral tools, materials, and workspace in a clean and organized manner.
• Stay updated on floral trends, seasonal flowers, and new design techniques.
• Train and guide junior floral assistants or temporary staff during large-scale events.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Florist, Floral Designer, or in a similar role (weddings/events experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, floral design, and arrangement techniques.
• Creative eye with the ability to adapt to various themes and client preferences.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
• Physical stamina to work long hours during event setups and handle heavy arrangements.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in floral design or related field is a plus.
• Experience in large-scale event setups and décor.
• Knowledge of event styling, color palettes, and overall event aesthetics.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
