Senior Full-Stack Developer (Technical Lead)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to serve as the Technical Lead for a major digital platform project at Fujairah Creative City (FCC). You will architect and build a comprehensive platform covering CRM, digital portal, licensing, compliance, government integrations, and financial systems. You will lead a team of 4 developers and make key architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect the overall platform using microservices architecture (Node.js, Rust, Python)

Lead technical decision-making including technology choices, design patterns, and coding standards

Build core platform modules: CRM/Customer 360, digital licensing system, and workflow engine

Develop both backend APIs (Node.js/NestJS) and frontend interfaces (React) across all modules

Implement high-performance services in Rust for compliance screening and data processing

Set up CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)

Design and implement government API integrations (UAE PASS, EKYC, NER, ICP)

Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce best practices

Design database schemas (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) for CRM, licensing, and financial data

Collaborate with the Free Zone Consultant to translate business requirements into technical specifications

Implement payment gateway integrations and electronic invoicing systems

Ensure platform security, performance, and scalability across all modules

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

5+ years of professional full-stack development experience

Expert-level proficiency in Node.js (Express/NestJS) backend development

Strong experience with React.js and TypeScript for frontend development

Proficiency in Python for backend services and data processing

Working knowledge of Rust for performance-critical services

Strong database design skills (PostgreSQL and MongoDB)

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

API design expertise (REST and GraphQL)

Experience leading development teams of 3–5 members

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with UAE government APIs (UAE PASS, ICP, EKYC)

Knowledge of free zone or licensing system development

Experience with payment gateway integrations (Middle East providers)

Arabic language skills (reading/writing) for RTL UI development

Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)

Cloud certification (AWS/Azure)

Experience with compliance/AML systems development

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
