Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI Focused) - Remote

Role Overview

FroggyTalk, an innovative platform providing communication & integeration solutions for Africans in diaspora is looking for a highly experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer with deep expertise in AI tools and system integration to join our core product team. You will lead the design and development of FroggyTalk’s new AI-powered solution, Train LLM, integrate language models, speech recognition, translation, and intelligent workflows into a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-driven web and mobile applications and backend systems that power FroggyTalk’s AI solutions.
• Build, train, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) on domain-specific immigration, policy, information and communication datasets.
• Create and optimize AI pipelines for data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Integrate LLMs and AI models into production using APIs, vector databases, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation).
• Develop Microservices and APIs (Python/FastAPI/Node.js) for intelligent conversation, translation, and automation features.
• Architect secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, RDS, S3, Bedrock).
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React/Next.js.
• Apply prompt engineering, model evaluation, and continuous improvement strategies for accuracy and performance.
• Ensure systems are optimised for multilingual, real-time user interactions.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer with focus on AI, delivering scalable, secure production systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Proven track record of building and integrating AI/ML systems, including LLMs, NLP pipelines, speech recognition, or recommendation engines.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and APIs such as OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, and Hugging Face.
• Solid background in AWS cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless or microservice-based design.
• Proficient in REST/GraphQL API design, software scalability, and system security best practices.
• Strong database knowledge across SQL (PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) technologies.
• Excellent understanding of system design principles and modern application architectures.
• Experience deploying retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).

Pay: E£85,000.00 - E£110,000.00 per month
