Job Summary:

The Senior Graphic Designer will oversee the graphic creative direction of Southern Marsh Collection, ensuring the brand maintains a strong, cohesive visual identity while continuing to innovate in the lifestyle apparel space across all touchpoints. This role is responsible for leading forward-season graphic/pattern print designs and wholesale catalog production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, product development, and brand identity, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for Southern culture.

Senior Graphic Designer (Apparel and Product Graphics)

Lead the creation and execution of graphic design for apparel and accessories, with a primary focus on graphic tees, prints, and patterns. This role is centered on product design, not marketing creative.

• Own the graphic tee program from concept through production, including original artwork and seasonal direction
• Design prints and patterns for apparel and accessories such as swim and outerwear
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and cross functional teams to develop seasonal product concepts and mockups
• Partner with manufacturers and technical design to approve graphics, color strikeoffs, and final production details
• Build and manage a network of freelance artists to support production scale
• Support special projects including custom, corporate, and licensed apparel programs
• Lead and mentor a small design team and manage project workflow
• Maintain brand consistency across product graphics, packaging, and select retail materials

What we're looking for:

• 5-10+ years of experience in graphic design or art creation related roles, ideally within the fashion industry.
• Strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to mentor and manage a design team.
• Expert level skill in sketching, drawing and painting - preferably both traditional art techniques and iPad based drawing - ability to utilize this artwork in tees and prints
• Expert level knowledge in repeating pattern production in Adobe Illustrator
• Knowledge of graphic preparation for silk screen printing
• A deep appreciation for Southern culture and lifestyle aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and project management software (Asana).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
