What is Yomn?

Yomn is a new breed of consultancy dedicated to social impact, economic development, and innovation. Our ultimate goal is improving people’s lives - including but not limited to health, climate change, education, women empowerment, sustainable tourism, arts & culture, etc. With three offices located in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and over 30 employees, we engage with prestigious government agencies, corporations, NGOs, and non-profit organizations. We help these clients understand what their stakeholders’ social needs are and execute effective initiatives that address those.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative Senior Graphic & Web Designer (8–15 years of experience) who will wear many hats—art director, UI/UX designer, web designer, illustrator and artist.

This is not a specialist role — we need a well-rounded designer who is just as comfortable designing a web interface, crafting a pitch deck, conceptualizing a public awareness campaign, or building a visual brand identity from scratch. In all these you are a visual storyteller at heart.

You are comfortable with some of the major tools for Graphic & Visual Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), UI/UX & Digital Product Design (Figma, Adobe XD) and Web Design (Webflow, Wix Studio, Framer or Bootstrap Studio).

You should also be able to integrate the latest AI tools in your design work.

You love working in a small, fast-paced startup - so we’re looking for someone who is independent, nimble, and comfortable with ambiguity

Key Responsibilities:

• Art Direction / Creative Strategy & Concept Development (20%): Develop visual identity systems/languages for brands, campaigns, products, events etc.
• Stakeholder management (20%): Translating a vague and abstract client direction in something appealing and impactful. Great communication skills and empathy are critical in this area.
• Design & Production (50%): Develop high-fidelity design outputs for a variety of use cases – from pitch decks and websites to banners for events and UX app prototypes. In particular UX/UI and prototypes (e.g. Figma, Canva or Adobe XD) + photo editing (e.g. Photoshop) + Hand-drawn or vector illustrations like icons or infographics (e.g. Illustrator, Vectr) + Motion graphics (e.g. Adobe After Effects) + Web design (e.g. Webflow). Good understanding of how a mix of layout, light, perspective, typography, colours, white space, patterns complement each other, is critical.
• Mentoring & Team management (10%): Develop and coordinate more junior team members

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house).
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Web Design , with proficiency in at least one of: Webflow , Wix Studio , or Framer
• Proficiency in Photoshop , Illustrator , InDesign , and Canva
• Working knowledge of HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and responsive design
• Bachelor's Degree
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Based in Cairo, Egypt
