Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Senior HR Administrator to join our HR team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of hands-on experience in HR operations, administration, and employee engagement.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic HR initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership and play a key part in fostering a positive work environment and efficient HR function.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage day-to-day HR operations and administrative functions.
Handle the entire employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to exit formalities.
Maintain and update employee records, HRMS data, and personnel files accurately.
Manage attendance, leave, and payroll coordination with the accounts team.
Support employee engagement programs, team events, and internal communications.
Ensure implementation and compliance with HR policies and statutory regulations.
Prepare HR reports, analytics, and dashboards for management review.
Coordinate training, appraisals, and performance management processes.
Handle employee queries and grievance management with professionalism and empathy.
Guide and mentor junior HR team members or interns to ensure consistent HR standards.


Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in HR Administration, Operations, or Generalist roles.
Excellent knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and Indian labor laws.
Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRMS tools (like greytHR, Zoho People, SAP, or Darwinbox).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational ability.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
