Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Senior HR Business manager to manage end-to-end HR operations across our Peelamedu and Gandhipuram branches. This is a strategic, hands-on role suited for an HR professional who excels in building robust HR systems, ensuring statutory compliance, and partnering closely with leadership to enhance performance, engagement, and workplace culture.

The position offers high ownership, leadership visibility, and the opportunity to strengthen HR practices across multiple locations.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance & Talent Management

• Lead the Performance Management System (PMS), including KRAs and KPIs
• Manage probation confirmations, annual appraisals, and performance review cycles
• Identify skill gaps and support learning, training, and employee development initiatives

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Act as the primary HR point of contact for employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution
• Plan and implement employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives
• Conduct regular branch visits to ensure policy alignment and HR best practices

HR Operations & Administration

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, transfers, and exits
• Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and HR documentation
• Maintain accurate HR MIS, dashboards, and management reports

Compliance & Policy Governance

• Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory compliance
• Implement and monitor HR policies consistently across both locations
• Conduct HR audits and recommend process and policy improvements

Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership

• Serve as a trusted HR partner to management and business leaders
• Support workforce planning, organizational development, and people strategy
• Facilitate internal HR communications and meetings

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HRBP roles
• Strong expertise in PMS, KRAs/KPIs, labour laws, and statutory compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Willingness to travel between Peelamedu and Gandhipuram branches
