Senior HR Officer

Doha, Qatar

  • Manage the full employee life cycle (recruitment, onboarding, orientation, probation, contract renewal, and exit process).
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook in line with Qatari labor law.
  • Prepare offer letters, and HR-related correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate employee records (hard copy and digital HR system).
  • Ensure compliance with Qatari labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and employee relations professionally.
  • Support managers in performance appraisal and training needs analysis.
  • Manage leave administration (annual leave, sick leave, emergency leave, etc.).
  • Coordinate with PRO for visa, QID, and other government-related HR processes.

Payroll & Compensation:

  • Manage monthly payroll preparation and processing in coordination with Finance.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, deductions, and allowances before finalizing payroll.
  • Ensure timely WPS (Wage Protection System) compliance and salary transfers.
  • Process end-of-service benefits, gratuity, and final settlements.
  • Handle staff medical insurance and renewals.
  • Maintain payroll records and reports for management review.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Assist in workforce planning and recruitment for new positions.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience (preferably in Real Estate or Construction sector in Qatar).
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law and WPS system.
  • Experience in payroll management and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
