Senior HSE Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior HSE Officer with strong expertise in Pumping Station Operations and Construction (Sewage, Irrigation, Storm Water) to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across our project sites. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH IGC certification, extensive UAE HSE knowledge, and proven experience in MEP or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, ADOSH Code of Practice, and client standards.
• Prepare and review HSE documentation: IMS, RA, JSA.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and safety inductions.
• Monitor PPE usage and enforce safe work practices.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on HSE compliance.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement on site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, HSE, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in Pumping Station Operations and Construction.
• Practical knowledge of: Gas Monitoring, MEWP, Confined Space, Working at Height, Deep Excavations, Hot Works.
• Familiarity with ADOSH Code of Practice and UAE HSE regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.

Preferred / Additional Qualifications:

• Certifications: ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
• TAQA-approved candidates preferred.
• Experience in large-scale MEP or infrastructure projects in UAE.
• Valid driver’s license, immediate joiner, willing to relocate.
