Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist. This role is based at our Jackson, MS facility. Relocation assistance is provided.


The Jackson facility has approximately 500 (300+ bargaining unit and 200+ salaried) employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.


The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will support the execution of Human Resources functions such as employee relations, communications, benefits, training and development and support achievement of facility goals, targets and objectives for the Jackson site.

The Jackson facility has approximately 550 (350+ bargaining unit and 200+ salaried) employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the candidate will support the execution of Human Resources functions such as employee relations, communications, benefits,labor relations, training and development and support achievement of facility goals, targets and objectives for the Jackson site."

  • You will coach managers and employees in understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance through employee engagement and manager effectiveness.
  • You will build organizational capability by attracting and retaining talent in both production and professional roles, including partnering with local colleges and universities.
  • You will promote continuous improvement using Lean management tools such as standard work, problem-solving techniques and work instructions.
  • You will deploy and develop HR policies, practices and programs to manage talent, drive culture, and align the organization at the Jackson plant.
  • You will administer the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement and maintain employee relations through the Union.
  • You will ensure data integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate entry and gather data through HR management systems.
  • You will help drive employee engagement through providing guidance leadership of employee led committees and iERGs.
  • You will collaborate with HR Services on all transactional HR matters.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources OR a master’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside or willing to relocate within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Jackson, MS will be considered.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information. Preferred Qualifications


  • MBA or Masters in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Industrial Psychology or Management
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 year of experience supporting a "Bargained for" client group
  • Professsional Human Resource (PHR) Certification
