We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer with a strong background in Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient performance, inspection, and optimization of hydraulic systems across infrastructure and utility-related assets.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of hydraulic systems, including pipelines, pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical support in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and failure analysis.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports, O&M manuals, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with PMC teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Participate in planning, budgeting, and scheduling for O&M activities.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, KPIs, and SLAs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Hydraulic Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum of 12 years of experience preferably in infrastructure, utilities, or water/wastewater sectors.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and maintenance best practices.
- Familiar with international codes and standards (e.g., AWWA, ASME, ISO).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software/tools related to hydraulic analysis and asset management.
