Job Responsibilities
- 
Acting as a discipline lead for the project.
- 
Developing project philosophy and design basis for their discipline.
- 
Managing vendor and subcontracted engineering company engineering tasks in his domain of expertise
- 
Preparing technical requisition and participating in vendor proposal technical evaluation.
- 
Supporting I&C Equipment FAT and Site Commissioning
- 
Development of of instrumentation engineering/design deliverables, including Instrument Index, Instrument Data Sheets, Instrument Installation Details, Instrument Location Plans, Wiring Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, MTOs, Cable Trays and Cables Routing, Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Schedules, etc.
- 
Lead the team in the development of Technical Requisitions, review bids, make technical recommendations, manage the technical interaction with vendors, review I&C packages, and review of vendor documentation.
- 
Interface between the engineering and drafting teams for the integration and development of project deliverables.
- 
Assist in and coordinate the development of internal design guidelines, and design verification procedures.
Work Experience
Academic Qualifications
- 
Proficient in English (speaking and writing)
- 
Degree : Bachelor/Masters
- 
Minimum 8+ years of experience
- 
Experience in oil and gas industry
Skills Required
- 
Knowledge and experience with Instrument Datasheets, Logic Diagrams, IO count, System Architecture, Hook-up drawings, vendor evaluation, Equipment FAT & field commissioning support.
- 
Equipment use in Hazardous area
- 
Fire and gas detection system.
- 
API MPMS, IEC 60079
- 
Knowledge of F&G detector, and Instrument MTO’s.
- 
Understanding and perform Instrumentation datasheet, index/schedule, cable block diagram and instrumentation hook-up drawings.
- 
Perform review of overall control system architecture
- 
Perform review of control panel & junction box construction and wiring
- 
Knowledge of hazardous classification specifications, schedule and layouts
- 
Perform Instrumentation bid evaluation and vendor data review
- 
Strong knowledge of instrumentation and electrical design codes (ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC, API, IEC, ATEX, etc.)
- 
Site commissioning experience.
- 
Familiar with LCI Management Systems (Aveva, SPI Intools).
- 
Experience and/or certifications in IECEx CoPC, Functional Safety.
- 
Instrumentation Sizing tools, Navis 3D model review.
This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in four days a week.
