New England Property Services Group LLC is a residential property restoration contractor operating throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Our company specializes in responding to residential property damage events including fire, water damage, structural damage, wind loss, and other residential losses.

In many circumstances our company works with property owners whose insurance policies provide coverage for repairs to their homes. Through contractual arrangements with the property owner our company may operate as an assignee of certain insurance claim rights related to repair work performed at the property.

This position is not an insurance carrier role and the company does not act as a claims administrator or third party administrator for insurance companies.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will bring deep familiarity with the internal structure of property insurance claims departments including authority levels, escalation paths, vendor management programs, regulatory oversight, and market conduct examinations.

This role helps the organization understand how insurance claims are handled internally by carriers so the company can coordinate more effectively with insurers and resolve claims efficiently for property owners.

Primary Responsibilities

Insurance Claims Process Strategy

· Provide guidance regarding internal structure of insurance carrier claims departments

· Explain claims authority levels and escalation procedures

· Assist the company in improving interaction with insurance carriers during claims

· Provide insight into internal decision making processes used by insurers

Market Conduct Examination and Regulatory Insight

· Assist leadership in understanding Department of Insurance regulatory oversight

· Provide insight into market conduct examination processes

· Explain how insurers track and respond to consumer complaints

· Provide insight into regulatory reporting practices used by insurers

Vendor Network Development

· Assist with development of expert vendor networks

· Identify and coordinate engineers, building consultants, roofing specialists, and environmental consultants

· Provide guidance regarding vendor selection practices used by insurers

· Assist with evaluation of technical experts used during property investigations

Operational Training and Process Development

· Provide training to internal staff regarding insurance claim lifecycle processes

· Assist with documentation standards expected by insurance carriers

· Help improve internal procedures related to claim coordination

· Provide guidance regarding escalation procedures within insurer organizations

Preferred Background

· Claims compliance manager

· Claims vendor management manager

· Large loss manager

· Senior claims examiner

· Claims training manager

· Catastrophe claims manager

· Claims operations manager

Preferred Qualifications

· Ten or more years of experience in homeowner or property insurance claims

· Experience with regulatory oversight or market conduct examinations

· Experience managing vendors used in property claim investigations

· Experience training or supervising claims professionals

· Professional designations such as CPCU AIC ARC ARM AIDA or similar credentials
