Mirion is looking for a Benefits Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, administering, and maintaining US benefit programs, policies, and procedures. This role will report to the Director, Total Rewards & HRIS and work closely with the HRIS team to leverage technology to streamline benefit processes.
Essential Duties:- Manage benefit plan financials, including billing, funding, and budget reconciliations for all plans, and work closely with the Broker and the Finance/Accounting teams to allocate costs across divisions.
- Create and maintain all benefits standard operating procedures.
- Lead the overall implementation activities for open enrollment, new benefits, new carriers etc..
- Work with the Communications team to develop benefit communications.
- Lead weekly benefit status calls with the Broker and serve as the main point of contact for all benefit related escalations.
- Administer all flexible accounts including payroll funding, quarterly audits, and annual true-up.
- Own all benefit-related compliance activities including but not limited to ACA reporting requirements, non-discrimination testing, and Wellness program activities.
- Oversee the administration of the Service Awards program.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to manage the administration of the Leave of Absence (LOA) program.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Skills & Experience:- Bachelor's degree.
- 4-5 Years in Benefits or 1-3 years as a Benefits Manager.
- Solid understanding of employee benefits and applicable laws at the federal, state, and local level.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with benefits-related HR systems and advanced Microsoft Office user (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc..)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organizational and time management skills.
