Role Overview

• Job Title: Senior Interior Designer FF&E
• Work Pattern: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
• Working Hours: 9:00am 5:30pm
• Location: Dubai

Key Requirements

Working Requirements

• Ideally to be based in UAE with a valid Emirates ID
• Full, clean driving licence required for site visits
• Full-time, in-studio role (not remote)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). In addition, Russian and Arabic languages an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple time zones
• Occasional travel overseas

Qualification/Experience & Skills

• Bachelor s degree from a University recognised by the UAE in interior design or related field.
• Minimum 8 years experience in an interior design or architectural practice, specifically within luxury residential FF&E
• Experience in yacht design is highly desirable
• Able to manage a small team of Junior ID s
• Strong understanding of the full design process, from concept to installation
• Experience managing multiple projects efficiently
• Confidence in leading client presentations, meetings, and correspondence
• Proven track record of running and delivering high-end residential projects
• Expertise in sourcing and procurement of FF&E, including furniture, fabrics, wallpapers, lighting, flooring, and sanitaryware
• Strong space planning skills

Technical Skills

• Technical drawing proficiency
• Strong AutoCAD, SketchUp, and EstiPC skills
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Photoshop) proficiency
• Microsoft Office Suite expertise
• Exceptional conceptual and presentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple luxury projects in the Dubai and internationally, from concept to completion
• Ability to manage, instruct and mentor junior team members
• Produce comprehensive mood boards and client presentations
• Prepare detailed drawings, designs, and plans
• Create accurate project schedules (e.g., lighting, finishes, curtains, and furniture manufacturing)
• Source and specify FF&E, ensuring selections align with project budgets and requirements
• Oversee project installation and styling, liaising with clients and contractors
• Stay up to date with design trends and innovations
• Attend trade fairs and industry events to expand knowledge and supplier relationships
• Represent the company at networking events when required
