HIRING: SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR

A client of Ortak Consultants (Pvt.) Limited is hiring an Internal Auditor based in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute internal audit plans across financial, operational and compliance areas.

- Conduct audits focusing on financial operations, internal controls and regulatory compliance.

- Evaluate accounting processes, financial reporting accuracy, and adherence to company policies.

- Review accounts payable/receivable, payroll, taxation, and budgetary controls.

- Identify financial irregularities, process gaps and potential risk areas, recommending corrective actions.

- Prepare and present detailed audit reports with actionable insights.

- Ensure timely follow-up and implementation of audit recommendations.

- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements:

- CA / ACCA / CMA / CIA (Qualified or Finalist)

- 10 years of relevant experience in internal audit, compliance, and controls, including at least 3 years in the finance function of a textile or manufacturing organization.

- Strong understanding of IFRS, taxation laws and internal control frameworks.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit/reporting tools.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
