Internal Auditor

Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join its Audit team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and supporting management through independent and objective audit assessments in line with the Trust’s mission and values.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with the approved internal audit plan.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, systems, and procedures.
• Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence to organizational policies and applicable regulations.
• Document audit findings with appropriate supporting evidence and prepare draft audit reports.
• Prepare detailed audit working papers and assist in drafting clear and concise audit reports.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and closure.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain information and resolve audit-related queries.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
• CA (Inter), ACCA, ICMA, or CIA will be considered an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in internal audit or a related domain.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting/audit software.
• High standards of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 per month
