Job Purpose
The Investment Analyst is responsible for informing strategic decision-making to optimize the organizations investment performance. The Investment Analyst conducts thorough financial research, analyses market trends, and evaluates investment opportunities to provide informed recommendations for portfolio management.
Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the financial health and growth prospects of potential investment targets. Develop and/or maintain dynamic financial models with sensitivity and scenario analysis projecting 5 10-year financial statements.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry dynamics, market size, growth trends, and the competitive landscape. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics within Saudi.
- Portfolio Management: Assist in portfolio management activities, including monitoring the performance of existing investments, conducting regular performance assessments, and identifying opportunities for value creation. Demonstrate a clear and comprehensive understanding of portfolio companies, and the opportunities and challenges associated with them. Stay up to date with all developments within allocated companies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of reports and analysis. Produce high-quality qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Supporting the investment decision-making process: Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of co-investment opportunities. Prepare investment memos and presentations.
- Due Diligence and Deal Closing: Conduct opportunity screening adherent to investment guidelines. Support and contribute to commercial and technical due diligence workstreams of identified opportunities. Assist in the closing process (FDD and LDD), working with internal and external groups such as team members, consultants, attorneys, and partners.
Self-Management Responsibilities:
- Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance or a related field.

CFA
Years of Experience:
3-5 years of relevant work experience in investment management.
