Investment Specialist

Job Purpose:

To support the Investment Department in analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities and strategic projects, contributing to well-informed investment decisions aligned with the government entity’s objectives and strategic direction.


Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in analyzing and evaluating proposed investment opportunities and strategic projects.

• Prepare financial models and economic and financial feasibility studies.

• Conduct market research and sector analysis relevant to the organization’s investment focus.

• Assist in preparing investment presentations and reports for senior management and investment committees.

• Monitor the performance of existing investments and projects and prepare periodic performance and risk reports.

• Support valuation activities for projects and assets in accordance with approved policies and standards.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations, internal policies, and governance frameworks.

• Coordinate with internal departments, government entities, and external advisors as required.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, project management, or a related role within a government or semi-government environment.


Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of financial analysis, financial modeling, and feasibility studies.

• Understanding of investment concepts, valuation techniques, and risk management principles.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.

• High analytical ability, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.

• Good communication and report-writing skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
