Senior Investment Analyst – Valuation

About the Role

Persian Horizon is expanding its Business Acquisition, Structuring, and Divestment unit across multiple industries.

We are seeking a highly capable financial professional who can provide rigorous quantitative logic, defensible financial models, and structured investment analysis behind each transaction.

This role works directly with Line Managers and the Head of Investment and sits at the core of transaction-level decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complete financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV)
• Design downside, base-case, and upside scenarios
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing
• Perform deep P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet analysis
• Analyze cost structures, margin sustainability, and revenue durability
• Evaluate ROI and capital structure implications
• Support financial due diligence processes
• Utilize AI and data tools for pre-analysis and accelerated review
• Prepare structured Investment Memos for internal committee review
• Provide quantitative support during acquisition or divestment negotiations

Mandatory Requirements

6–12 years of professional experience in one or more of the following:

• Corporate Finance
• M&A Support
• Transaction Advisory
• Investment Banking
• Private Equity Analysis

Additionally:

• Advanced Excel financial modeling capability (mandatory)
• Hands-on valuation experience in private businesses
• Direct exposure to financial due diligence
• Ability to work with imperfect or incomplete data and construct defensible models
• High numerical accuracy and structured analytical thinking

Technology & Analytical Capability (Important)

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to use analytical technology to increase speed and precision, including:

• Practical use of AI tools in financial analysis
• Experience working with data and visualization platforms
• Building flexible, scalable financial models

Power BI experience is considered a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA (Level 1 or Level 2)
• MBA in Finance
• GCC market exposure
• Experience valuing private or founder-led businesses

• Investment-grade analytical reports
• Quantitative justification of acquisition or divestment pricing
• Meaningful reduction of investment decision risk
