About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and database management, with strong knowledge of modern development practices. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead complex projects, and mentor junior developers while ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• API Development & Integration: Build and optimize RESTful and SOAP APIs; integrate third-party services and ensure secure communication between systems.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize schemas, queries, and stored procedures in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
• System Performance & Scalability: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for scalability and reliability.
• Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code; perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Deployment & CI/CD: Implement automated testing (JUnit, TestNG) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and designers to deliver business solutions; mentor junior developers.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Analyze technical challenges, recommend innovative solutions, and contribute to architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• o Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.o Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).o Proven experience in building and maintaining enterprise-scale backend systems.
• Technical Skills:
• o Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.o Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and query optimization.o Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).o Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).o Strong knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
