Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Lead to design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will provide strong technical leadership, mentor development teams, and ensure adherence to best practices across the software development lifecycle. This role requires hands-on expertise in modern Java ecosystems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• 
  Experience 8 to 12 years

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing architectural and technical guidance.

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java (8/11/17) and related frameworks.

• Drive architecture discussions and contribute to scalable, resilient solution design.

• Develop and maintain microservices-based systems and RESTful APIs.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards, quality, and performance best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product, and client stakeholders.

• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Participate in client discussions and provide technical insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• 
  8+ years of experience in Java development with strong expertise in Java (8/11/17).

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

• Solid experience with Microservices Architecture and RESTful API development.

• Strong knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).

• Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven.

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle production issues.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Nice to have

• 
  Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

• Exposure to event-driven architecture and reactive programming.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Experience implementing security best practices and OAuth2/JWT.

• Prior experience in client-facing or consulting roles.

• Certification in Java or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
