Job Title: Senior Lab Technician/ Lab In charge
- Oversee day-to-day functioning of the laboratory and ensure smooth workflow.
- Supervise laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable reporting of test results.
- Monitor sample collection, labeling, processing, and documentation protocols.
- Maintain calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance checks of lab equipment.
- Ensure compliance with NABL / Quality Standards / Safety & Infection Control guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of reagents, consumables, and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and hospital departments for lab-related requirements.
- Review and update SOPs, work instructions, and quality control documentation.
- Train and guide team members on lab workflows, safety procedures, and quality processes.
- Ensure proper waste management and adherence to Biomedical Waste Management rules.
- Handle vendor coordination, purchase requisitions, and service support schedules.
- Monitor TAT (Turn-Around Time) and continuously work on process improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Medical Lab Technology or DMLT.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in laboratory operations (hospital experience preferred).
- Knowledge of Quality Control, NABL documentation, and lab automation systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
