The Senior Lab Technologist Performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests with moderate and high complexity in different lab units including Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology, Histology and Transfusion Medicine in accordance with standard laboratory practice and procedures to obtain accurate and precise data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
- Perform moderate and high complexity testing using automated analyzers or manual techniques in any lab technical unit as assigned like Chemistry SerologyMicrobiology Hematology Molecular and immunology in addition to histology
- Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks according to Lab policies and procedures
- Compile with standards that are required for the laboratory to maintain and meet accrediting agencies such as College of American Pathologists CAP AABB JCI CBAHI and SFDA
- Participate in training programs for new hire staff in the assigned unit
- Perform phlebotomy and other job related miscellaneous activities requested Collects blood frominpatients and outPatients by finger stick or venipuncture
Bachelor's degree in medical technology/Clinical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory science program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) is required.
SCFHS Classification and Saudi MOH Licensed Medical Laboratory technologist/Specialist
Minimum 6 years’ experience in a licensed Medical facility/Clinical laboratory as Lab Medical Technologist along with Completion of 1 year internship.
