About the Role

We’re seeking a Landscape Designer who is equal parts creative visionary, client advisor, and proactive operator. You’ll need to think independently, deliver designs quickly and accurately, and guide clients through the value of your work. This is not just about “making things pretty” — it’s about solving problems beautifully and owning your role end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design custom landscapes for high-end residential clients (some commercial).
• Develop conceptual sketches, 2D/3D renderings, and detailed CAD-based plans.
• Confidently guide clients through design decisions, helping them understand the “why” behind your recommendations.
• Select appropriate Texas-native plants, materials, and sustainable design solutions.
• Conduct site assessments, take field measurements, and produce scaled drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers and install crews to ensure the design is faithfully executed.
• Occasionally assist with plant placement on-site to align with the design intent.
• Turn around designs with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Stay informed on design trends, sustainability practices, and local landscape codes.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of design experience, preferably in luxury residential or commercial landscaping.
• Strong communication and design presentation skills, especially in client-facing environments. Hell yeah
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, or similar tools.
• An understanding of Texas-native plants and landscape design principles.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to visit job sites as needed.
• Bonus: Experience in sales, horticulture, or construction is a strong advantage.
