Senior Lawson Infor S3 Payroll Consultant

Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Lawson Infor S3 Payroll Consultant to provide hands-on operational leadership for payroll processing in a high-volume hospital environment. This is a working consultant role, not advisory. The ideal candidate can independently run payroll, resolve complex issues in real time, and stabilize payroll operations with minimal onboarding.

Duties

Payroll Operations

• Independently process Biweekly, Monthly, and Supplemental payrolls
• Execute full payroll lifecycle: Audits, Validation, Balancing, & Reconciliation
• Manage off-cycle payrolls, corrections, and retroactive adjustments
• Support Absence Management payroll processing

Healthcare Premium & Differential Expertise

• Hands-on experience with complex hospital pay including:
• Night and weekend differentials
• On-call and overtime pay
• Team lead, preceptor, and certification pay
• Shift-based premiums and supplemental earnings
• Non-discretionary bonuses
• Deep understanding of:
• Lawson S3 configuration
• Interaction with base pay, FTE, and overtime
• Retroactive pay impacts

System Stabilization & Risk Mitigation

• Review payroll configurations for risk
• Strengthen payroll controls and balancing procedures
• Identify and resolve root-cause payroll issues
• Validate integrations with:
• Timekeeping/WFM
• Benefits
• General Ledger
• Tax systems

Workforce Management (Preferred)

• Lawson Infor WFM experience a plus
• Validate time imports
• Troubleshoot premium rules
• Support shift rule configuration

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Lawson Infor S3 Payroll experience
• Proven experience processing payroll for 5,000+ employees
• Healthcare payroll experience strongly preferred
• Expert-level knowledge of:
• Earnings and deduction setup
• Premium pay configuration
• Retro pay processing
• Payroll balancing and reconciliation
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

Contract Details

• 3-month engagement with potential extension
• Competitive hourly rate
• Immediate availability preferred

Experience:

• direct payroll processing experience in Lawson S3: 1 year (Required)
• hands-on Lawson payroll execution : 1 year (Required)
