Senior Lawyer

We're Hiring on Behalf of Our Client: Senior Lawyer (In-House) - Dubai

Our client, a well-established and growing international trading and distribution company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Lawyer to join their Dubai-based team.

This is a strategic opportunity for a senior lawyer to play a pivotal role in supporting complex, cross-border trading operations.

The Role:

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will act as a key partner to the business, advising on a broad range of commercial and operational matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level support to trading and distribution activities
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements (trading, supply, distribution, logistics, etc.)
• Advise on cross-border transactions and regulatory frameworks
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks
• Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders globally

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10-15 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong experience in trading / commodities environments is essential
• Proven expertise in English law (qualification in England & Wales or equivalent strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in international matters within fast-paced, multicultural environments
• Exposure to or experience working with African jurisdictions would be a strong advantage
• Commercially astute, pragmatic, and able to operate at senior stakeholder level
• You speak arabic or any Subsaharien African Language is a place
