Senior Lead AI/ML Engineer

We are looking for a strategic and technically skilled AI/ML Lead to define and drive our organization’s artificial intelligence roadmap. This key leadership position blends advanced hands-on AI/ML development with strategic oversight. The ideal candidate will design and deliver scalable AI solutions, lead engineering teams, and embed intelligent capabilities into our core platforms and products. We seek someone who is both visionary and results-driven—capable of turning complex business needs into real-world, impactful AI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions across areas such as:
• Computer Vision: Object detection, OCR, facial recognition
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Semantic search, chatbots, summarization
• AI Agents & Knowledge Bots: RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), agentic workflows
• Predictive Analytics: Classification, forecasting, and recommendations
• Customize and fine-tune pre-trained and open-source models using production data
• Integrate AI capabilities into platforms such as StaffViz and internal CRMs
• Architect AI systems utilizing vector databases, knowledge bases, and RAG methods
• Mentor engineering teams on AI/ML tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and software teams for smooth deployments
• Stay current with industry advancements in AI, research trends, and tools

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong command of Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn
• Experience with frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack
• API development using FastAPI or Flask
• Solid understanding of Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows

Hands-on Expertise In:

• Computer Vision: YOLOv8, Detectron2, SAM, CLIP, OpenCV
• LLMs/NLP: LLaMA 2, Falcon, Mistral, T5, GPT-J, Zephyr, Orca
• Speech AI: Whisper, Coqui TTS, ESPnet
• AI Agents: CrewAI, AutoGPT, BabyAGI
• Vector Databases: Weaviate, Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS
• Predictive Modeling: XGBoost, LightGBM, Prophet

Preferred Tools & Experience:

• Experiment tracking with MLFlow or Weights & Biases
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Proven team leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives in dynamic environments

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML development
• At least 4 years in a technical or team leadership role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields
• Demonstrated success in delivering AI solutions from concept to production
