Senior Python Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Python frameworks, scripting, and Machine Learning (ML) model development. The ideal FAST University graduate will lead backend development, build intelligent applications, and guide the team in delivering data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize backend applications using Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Build, deploy, and maintain Machine Learning models in production.
• Write clean, modular, and scalable Python code.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for data pipelines and infrastructure tasks.
• Work with data scientists to transform models into deployable APIs/services.
• Optimize database queries and integrate with SQL/NoSQL systems.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science / Software Engineering from FAST University.
• Minimum 4 years of Python development experience.
• Strong grip on Django, Flask, FastAPI (any two at an expert level).
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python automation scripts).
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
