What Awaits You in This Role?

We are looking for a passionate Lead Data Analyst who will join our team at IT Directorate.

• Design and implement dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
• Hands-on experience in self-service BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau.
• Experienced in application designing, architecting, development, and deployment using data visualization tools.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in database querying, data modeling, and optimization.
• Experienced in data integration through extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and metadata management processes.
• Ability to work with large-scale data platforms, including cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Working with business units and data analysts to ideate analytics projects and generate actionable insights.
• Must be efficient in dashboard front-end development and know visualization best practices.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques is a plus.
• Define and execute the analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain the data analytics roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on impact and feasibility.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Lead and inspire a team of data professionals, ensuring continuous development and engagement.
• Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and communicate insights to senior leadership and business teams.
• Translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions by working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to deliver technical insights and interpret data reports to business units.
• Administration and management of data visualization environments including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, addressing issues related to scalability, responsiveness, and resource utilization.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in BI, analytics, and AI-driven insights to continuously enhance our BI capabilities.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to lead analytics projects in an iterative manner.

The position is located in Istanbul, Turkey.

How Do We Describe the Perfect Match?

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, MIS, or Business Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence tools, and analytics platforms.
• Experience in data modeling, data architecture, and database management.
• Knowledge and experience in manufacturing & retail processes is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and ability to bridge technical insights with business strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven experience in leading analytics teams and mentoring junior analysts.
• Ability to influence and drive change within an organization using data-driven insights.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team in a data-driven organization is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to present data-driven insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
