Job Title: Legal Advisor/ Senior Legal Advisor

Role Summary:

The candidate will predominantly report to the Regulatory Affairs and Privacy Lead in the Legal and Regulatory Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the organization’s corporate office and its global subsidiaries. This role involves handling a wide range of regulatory-related matters, including supervision of international subsidiaries by providing legal analysis and regulatory recommendations in asset management and cross-border operations, corporate governance, and a wide range of regulatory-related practices within the healthcare domain.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate, Tax, finance, healthcare, commercial, and regulatory matters across local and global jurisdictions.
  2. Understand healthcare regulatory obligations of hospitals and payors and develop or enhance controls in coordination with user departments.
  3. Insights into updating regulatory forms and obligations.
  4. Advise on corporate governance, compliance with applicable laws, and regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions.
  5. Support M&A transactions, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives with legal due diligence and documentation.
  6. Monitor legal trends and changes in legislation that may affect the company’s operations and advise relevant stakeholders.
  7. Participate in the development and implementation of internal policies impacting regulatory risks, procedures, and international leading regulatory best practices across local and international jurisdictions.


Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Must have at least 5 years of healthcare experience in a relevant legal role.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; Master's or relevant certifications in the healthcare field are a plus.
  3. Minimum of 4-6 years of post-qualification experience ( or 8 to 10 years of PQE for senior), ideally with a mix of in-house corporate and law firm experience.
  4. Should have worked either as a regulatory lawyer (Preferred), or finance lawyer and/or healthcare lawyer, with demonstrated experience navigating complex sector-specific laws and regulatory frameworks.
  5. Strong understanding of international legal frameworks and cross-border transactions.
  6. Proven experience supporting multinational operations or working within a global organization.
  7. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is recommended.
