Senior Legal Counsel – Construction

We are seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join our client on a 6 month in-house secondment based in Abu Dhabi . This role will support large-scale residential and commercial projects across the Emirates and requires hands-on legal expertise on construction matters.

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years PQE, admitted in a common law or regional jurisdiction.

• Extensive experience in real estate and construction law within the UAE or GCC.

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, as well as real estate transaction structures (SPA, lease, off-plan sales).

• Experience liaising with DLD, RERA, Dubai Municipality, and other UAE regulatory bodies.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple concurrent projects.

• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills highly preferred.

• Previous in-house experience within real estate development or infrastructure sectors preferred.
