Senior Lighting Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural lighting design across large-scale projects, with the ability to lead, coordinate, and deliver innovative lighting solutions from concept through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual lighting designs for indoor and outdoor architectural projects .
• Lead and coordinate lighting design on large-scale projects such as stadiums, commercial buildings, and hotels.
• Prepare and present lighting design proposals for client and consultant approvals.
• Perform façade lighting design , including dynamic and color-changing systems.
• Apply value engineering principles to recommend alternate lighting solutions.
• Support mock-ups, site aiming, and testing of lighting systems.
• Assist site teams during installation, commissioning, and final handover .
• Program and configure DMX-controlled systems for architectural and landscape applications.

Software & Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Dialux EVO for lighting simulations.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for lighting layouts.
• Experience with Photoshop or similar tools for rendering visuals.
• Familiarity with SketchUp for conceptual modeling.
• Competence in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.

Lighting Control Systems Knowledge

• Experience with DMX lighting control systems .
• Familiarity with DALI, KNX, or Lutron protocols .

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in architectural lighting design, preferably in a lead or coordinator role .
• Strong portfolio showcasing work on landmark or large-scale projects .
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
