Senior Logistics Business Partner

About the Role:


We are looking for a Senior Logistics Business Partner to lead and optimize our end-to-end logistics and import operations, with a particular focus on automotive importation, customs compliance, and banking procedures related to international trade. This senior-level role is both operational and strategic, acting as a key interface between logistics, finance, procurement, and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless, compliant, and cost-effective supply chain.


The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in logistics operations within the Saudi market, deep expertise in customs regulations, and a strong understanding of trade finance processes. This role will also contribute to continuous process improvement, regulatory compliance, and alignment of logistics strategies with overall business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and oversee all vehicle import operations, ensuring full compliance with Saudi customs laws and internal company policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between logistics and cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, compliance, and external partners
  • Manage customs clearance procedures: oversee documentation, and ensure adherence to import regulations
  • Handle and coordinate with banks on letters of credit (LCs), shipping guarantees, and import payment processes
  • Supervise the preparation, accuracy, and compliance of all import-related documentation (e.g., invoices, bills of lading, etc.)
  • Drive process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives within the logistics function
  • Monitor and report on shipment status, risks, and KPIs to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant local and international trade regulations
  • Act as a business partner to internal departments by aligning logistics strategies with company objectives and operational needs



Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, with a focus on automotive import procedures and Saudi customs regulations
  • Proven experience dealing with banks on trade finance, LCs, and other import-related documentation
  • Deep understanding of Saudi import/export laws, customs procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high volumes of sensitive data and documentation with discretion
  • Fluency in English is required
