Senior Logistics Coordinator

Role Description

Senior Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for shipment coordination, preparing freight quotations, reporting to customers, preparing shipment documents and arranging billing.

Our Istanbul office serves as important transit hub for growing segment of deliveries from Europe to Central Asia. We are looking for motivated team members to join us in Istanbul, Turkey.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in logistics or project management
• Good knowledge of the logistics market in Turkey
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good knowledge of import/export and transport regulations
• Fluency in Turkish and English languages, Russian is an advantage
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Driving license

Responsibilities

• Direct communications and contracts with shipping lines, ports, warehouses, etc.
• Rates calculations, requesting partners, searching new partners.
• Shipment coordination within carriers, drivers, customs offices
• Issuing transport documents and checking documentation arranged by partners.
• Customer coordination with external and internal clients
• Administrative tasks, such as billing and archiving
