At Desmet, you will drive the complete PO to Payment cycle, ensuring contractual compliance and commercial impact while managing inbound and outbound shipments. Your role involves negotiation, consignment movement, timely delivery and logistics performance. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Driving the complete purchase order to payment process in alignment with contractual terms and commercial impact.
Closely following project timelines and ensuring seamless coordination with the Project Execution team.
Monitoring inbound and outbound consignments for accuracy in quantity, quality, and delivery timelines.
Negotiating and collaborating with suppliers and transport partners to guarantee smooth consignment movement to project sites.
Overseeing transportation costs and stock levels to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
Maintaining strong CRM processes to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensuring strict adherence to tax regulations, financial and legal requirements, and Incoterms standards under the guidance of the Logistics Lead.
Collaborating with the Category team to strengthen supplier partnerships and escalate issues when necessary.
Escalating logistics-related complaints to the Logistics Manager and cross-functional teams for timely resolution.
Analyzing project On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and implementing improvement plans to drive operational excellence.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Possess excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and proven negotiation abilities, with a dedication to continuous improvement.
Skilled critical thinker and problem solver, capable of making sound decisions in complex project environments.
Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, project management tools (D365), and data analytics for effective execution.
Qualified with a degree in engineering or related discipline, bringing a solid academic foundation to technical and managerial roles.
Over 10–12 years of experience in Mechanical, EPC, and Project Management industries, with expertise in handling diverse projects.
