Role Summary

The Senior Magento Developer is responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining multiple eCommerce websites under Jupiter Ventures. This role ensures all company sites remain secure, optimized, and aligned with marketing and operational requirements. The position involves continuous collaboration with design, SEO, and management teams to support ongoing updates, product changes, and technical improvements that enhance user experience and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Magento 2 websites across all Jupiter Ventures brands.
• Implement new modules, themes, and integrations to support marketing and operational initiatives.
• Ensure all websites meet performance, speed, and security benchmarks.
• Coordinate with the SEO and design teams to implement updates, product changes, and new landing pages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any bugs, technical errors, or system conflicts promptly.
• Perform routine version upgrades, patch installations, and quality assurance testing.
• Manage and document technical workflows, code changes, and version controls.
• Ensure smooth deployment processes between staging and live environments.
• Maintain consistent backup and recovery protocols in coordination with IT support.
• Support integration of CRMs, analytics tools, and other third-party systems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience with Magento 2 development and administration.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, Git, Composer, and Magento module development.
• Understanding of eCommerce architecture, SEO-friendly coding, and responsive design.
• Strong problem-solving, testing, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously with clear communication and time management.
• Familiarity with server operations and deployment tools is an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Website uptime, performance score, and load speed.
• Timely completion of updates, releases, and issue resolutions.
• Minimal downtime or rollback incidents during deployments.
• Accuracy and documentation of all development and maintenance work.
• Cross-team coordination efficiency with SEO, content, and design departments.
• Continuous improvement in website functionality, stability, and user experience.

Reporting

Reports directly to management or assigned project lead and coordinates with the design, SEO, and operations teams for implementation and issue resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs300,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
