The role involves driving standardization efforts for business plan templates and submission formats across QIC to ensure consistency and comparability of content. It includes developing and standardizing stage-gate business planning documents in alignment with the QIC Stage Gate Processes framework. Additionally, the role is responsible for managing the development of a comprehensive business planning template, structure, and associated processes to support effective implementation. It also includes the development of the necessary policies and procedures related to business planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Plan - Planning and Standardization
- Drive standardization efforts of business plan templates and submission formats across QIC to ensure uniformity and comparability of content.
- Develop and standardize stage-gate Business Planning Documents as per QIC - Stage Gate Processes framework.
- Manage the development of comprehensive business planning template, structure, and processes for implementation.
- Develop the required policies and procedures related to Business Planning.
- Business Plan - Development
- Manage and provide support to BUs in the development of their 5-year BU-Level Business Plans.
- Facilitate and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure adherence to stage-gate requirements.
- Ensure that all business unit plans are aligned with QIC's mandate, vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Review submissions from business units and provide structured feedback, ensuring strategic alignment and completeness.
- Market Assessment & Benchmark Review
- Evaluate market studies from business units focused on demand-supply dynamics, target segments, competitive benchmarks, and trends.
- Standardize the market assessment frameworks and assumptions used in planning inputs to ensure consistency across BUs, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the liaison between Development, CDU, internal team.
- Facilitate strategic alignment sessions with business unit heads.
- Coordinate with external consultants and stakeholders, as required.
- Prepare strategic presentations and reports for senior leadership and board-level review.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in related field. 6-8 years of experience. Consultancy experience is preferred.
