Senior Manager, Planning

JASARA PMC is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Manager, Planning to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning function across a project, ensuring accurate and timely schedule development, monitoring, and control to support overall project execution and delivery. The project is a mixed real estate program in Riyadh.

As a Senior Manager, Planning, you will manage a team of planners, coordinate with project stakeholders, and drive effective planning practices that enhance project performance and risk mitigation. You will play a key role in aligning planning strategies with organizational goals, optimizing resource allocation, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain master and detailed project schedules
• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure integration of planning activities.
• Conduct regular schedule updates, progress tracking, and variance analysis to identify potential risks and delays.
• Implement planning standards and improve methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate project schedule status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with JASARA PMC’s health, safety, and quality standards in all planning activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in planning practices.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in project planning and controls, with a proven track record in managing planning teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
• Familiarity with the Middle Eastern market and local project execution environments is an advantage.
