What's the Role

The role of the Senior Manager, Cloud Solutions with Liberty Caribbean is to transform the company into a next generation IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) by building and scaling managed cloud and cybersecurity services, capturing significant new revenue opportunities, ensuring company financial and strategic targets are met, and lead the ICT/Cloud team.

Raise and accelerate market demand for cloud and cybersecurity solutions by:

Crafting compelling service offerings that address enterprise problems.
Partnering with sales, marketing, and business leaders to position the company as the preferred MSP in the region.
Engaging with clients and industry partners to showcase thought leadership and differentiated value.
Building trust through reference architectures, proof-of-concepts, and success stories that drive adoption.
This role is rooted in technical leadership, solution integrity, and architectural oversight across our enterprise and B2B services portfolio.
Innovation Catalyst: Drive proof-of-concepts and pilot programs to test new technologies (e.g., containerization, AI/ML in cloud, edge computing) and assess their fit for production.
Solution Design Authority: Lead the end-to-end architecture design for complex, multi-market deployments, ensuring integration with networking, security, and application ecosystems

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

Cloud Strategy & Architecture

Understand and gain clients and market requirement around multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-prem integrations.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
Collaborate with products to create a comprehensive portfolio of Cloud and Ciber services,
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption.

Solution Design & Delivery

Lead the design of end-to-end cloud solutions for applications, infrastructure, and data platforms.
Ensure alignment with best practices, compliance, and security standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Provide guidance on migration strategies for legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.

Technical Leadership

Mentor and guide solution architects, engineers, and developers across cloud-related projects.
Establish standards, frameworks, and reference architectures for consistent adoption.
Act as a subject-matter expert in cloud technologies for C-level executives and stakeholders.

Collaboration & Governance

Partner with IT, cybersecurity, DevOps, and business teams to ensure seamless execution.
Define governance models for cost control, performance optimization, and service-level management.
Establish relationships with strategic cloud partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, HPE, etc.).

Qualifications:

What You'll Need

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related; MBA or postgrad degree is a plus.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Experience

10+ years in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture roles.
Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical cloud solutions.
Strong expertise in multi-cloud and hybrid architecture, cloud-native services, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).

Skills

Strong knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and compliance in cloud environments.
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
Proven track record working with global technology vendors and service integrators such as Google, Azure, Oracle, AWS, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, or others.
Strong ability to engage with stakeholders and demonstrate leadership skills across various functions.
Strong commercial savvy, combined with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, customer-centric use cases, and market dynamics
