Job Summary

The Sr Manager Financing as part of the Corporate Treasury team will play a pivotal role in leading banking & financing relationships for the company. He/She will identify new opportunities & help re-finance existing loans so to help the company diversify the capital stack. In this role the candidate has the unique opportunity to join a team that is driving fundamental change in capital structure & asset management by leveraging on third party forms of capital. This role will help drive cash management across the Group entities, cash forecasting, reporting, and support cross-functional business decisions. This position suits someone who thrives in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

1. Liquidity Management & Cash Planning

• Build & maintain the cash projection model for global cash to assist working capital, and liquidity planning at both regional and consolidated level.
• Drive cash pooling strategy & maximize treasury deposit income by conserving equity use & promoting regional self sufficiency.
• Implement systems & processes for effective equity & debt management use across the regions.
• Implement cash forecasting discipline.

2. Capital raising & lender management

• Coordinate with lenders to raise new debt facilities in the geographies operated by the Group companies/ subsidiaries including corporate.
• Track and manage short-term investments and borrowing facilities, credit lines.
• Maintain a loan tracking schedule and ensure timely settlements and reconciliations.

3. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with loan documents & lead periodic reporting to lenders
• Address & manage concerns if any with lenders & other stakeholders including internal controls, treasury policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and internal reviews related to banking functions.
• Assist in implementing banking solutions, including cash pooling and treasury technology systems.

4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Manage, coach, and develop finance team members.
• Communicate funding arrangements and cash forecasts to internal stakeholders.
• Partner with external banks, financial institutions and other external entities as required.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior management.

5. Project Financing

• Support sales with managing & leading all special purpose vehicle development including building financial model, structuring & leading the raise of non-dilutive capital for such Build-Own-Operate opportunities for Gradiant- all developmental asset platforms including M&A.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Master’s in Finance/MBA or relevant certification CFA etc
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills including VBA
• Thorough knowledge of financial statements reading, analysing financial statements (BS, PL & CF)
• Demonstrated debt & equity raising experience
• Through communication skills & an ability to speak both qualitatively & quantitatively about Gradiant & the investment opportunity.
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
• CFA Level 2+ , FRM and similar certificates
