Senior Associate – Treasury

Job Purpose:


Support the treasury function by managing daily liquidity, cash flow forecasting, banking operations, and compliance with treasury policies. This role ensures adequate liquidity, effective utilization of funds, and adherence to governance standards while maintaining strong banking relationships across Modon Communities.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Liquidity & Cash Management : Monitor daily cash balances and funding positions; prepare and update short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.


  • Banking Operations : Process vendor and payroll payments, oversee collections, and perform timely bank reconciliations in line with Delegation of Authority.


  • Funding Support : Assist in preparing and monitoring drawdowns of grants, shareholder funding, or intercompany loans; track repayments and interest schedules.


  • Treasury Controls : Ensure compliance with group treasury policies, bank mandates, and segregation of duties; support FX exposure monitoring where relevant.


  • Governance & Reporting : Prepare weekly liquidity updates and monthly variance analysis against forecasts; maintain a treasury dashboard for management reporting.


  • Bank Relationships : Support account openings, amendments, closures, and KYC/AML requirements with partner banks.


  • Audit & Compliance : Prepare documentation for internal and external audits; support ICFR testing of treasury-related controls and ensure timely remediation of findings.


  • Process Improvements : Identify opportunities to automate treasury reporting, streamline payment processes, and enhance system integration within ERP (D365).


Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Professional certification CA, CPA, ACCA required.


Experience:


  • 7–10 years’ experience in treasury, corporate banking, or finance functions within large organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and bank operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle Fusion) and advanced Excel/Power BI.
