Senior Manager, Global Customs, Pakistan -(PHR/1037/1)

Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Manager, Global Customs will lead Customs Brokerage product development and support the commercial team in winning and implementing large-scale opportunities. The role is responsible for planning and executing the Customs Brokerage strategy in coordination with senior leadership and regional teams.

The position oversees end-to-end customs clearance operations, ensuring compliance, timely delivery, operational efficiency, and high service standards. It is also responsible for managing the Customs Brokerage P&L and delivering EBIT targets aligned with business objectives. The role drives continuous improvement, leadership development, and change management within the function.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Customs Brokerage product development and business growth initiatives
  • Develop and execute Customs Brokerage strategy in coordination with leadership teams
  • Manage end-to-end customs clearance operations ensuring compliance and timely execution
  • Oversee P&L performance and deliver EBIT targets
  • Support commercial teams in winning and implementing key business opportunities
  • Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and service quality improvements
  • Lead, coach, and develop the customs brokerage team
  • Ensure compliance with international customs laws, regulations, and policies
  • Manage subcontractors and procurement related to customs operations

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in regional reviews on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards
  • Ensure alignment with global HSE standards and operational best practices
  • Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or freight forwarding
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership role managing teams and operations
  • International experience in customs/logistics preferred
